Why is a Rite-of-Passage Experience Necessary?
It's one thing to talk about coming together through community, but to live it, is another thing entirely.
It’s easy to become comfortable in our own personal cocoon. Oftentimes, too comfortable. Maybe we've achieved greatness from this place of comfort and familiarity. But still, a part of us feels alone, craving the experience of heart-felt communion with others.
Unfortunately, society doesn't teach us much about coming together in the way that humans are truly capable of. We’ve lost touch with the way we value real community, and how it’s built. Our culture has confused strength and success with putting on a smile, avoiding vulnerability, and making things happen on our own.
But, there's something inside of us that knows it's not just about us - that the path to true greatness is made of many minds, and many hearts, working together. We know deep down that we are meant to be a part of something much more profound than what we’ve settled for - a unified movement….
A movement committed to creating a genuinely positive impact in the world.
To do this, the right conditions are required to loosen our guard and relax into communion. They say that real connections - unbreakable bonds - are formed by those who go to war together.
For me, my battlefield was the football field. After playing 8 years in the NFL, I've experienced the power of forging unbreakable bonds with the teams I played with. And many of these lessons are part of the Rite-of-Passage experience we've created at The Härt Collective.

What to Expect from Our Rite-of-Passage Experience
The Härt Collective is more than just a network. Our community is unique, requiring each new initiate to attend one of our wilderness expeditions in order to become a member. This expedition serves as an initiation into our community - and it's not for everyone.
It's for those who are driven by passion, purpose, and a desire to create lasting change for others. It’s for those who recognize that forging deep bonds with like-hearted people in a vulnerable, compassionate way is what the world needs most, now more than ever.
The intention for creating this type of barrier to entry is two fold:
Participating in a shared immersive experience in nature fosters stronger and enduring bonds among our members, resulting in lasting connections and lifelong friendships.
Together, out on the Green River in the beautiful Gates of Lador Canyon in Utah, we will be initiating and awakening the energy of our hearts. Tapping into the incredible power of nature.
As high impact leaders, entrepreneurs and visionaries, it's crucial that we not only awaken the power of our hearts but also learn to integrate this energy into our business leadership and culture. This is how our visions for a brighter future become tangible and lead to lasting change in our lives and those we lead. The Härt Collective is here to support you on the journey of embodying your highest potential as a heart-centered leader and visionary.
We model our Rite-of-Passage on the following 3 steps that can be found in countless traditions throughout history - traditions that support some of the healthiest, most well rounded communities we’ve ever known.

1. Preparation
"Separated from society and immersed in a new culture"
This is where we remove ourselves from the world we originated from - no longer a part of the old paradigm, but not yet accepted as a member of the new one.
The Härt Collective offers this by meticulously hand-picking our founding members, carefully reviewing each and every application - only selecting those who are most aligned with the spirit of communitas.
In order to make sure you are adequately prepared for our wilderness expedition, THC team and will be facilitating a 2-hour preparation call that will take place two weeks prior hitting the water. During this call, we’ll have opportunities to discuss best practices to prepare your mind, body and spirit in order to fully optimize this transformational experience. Ample time will be provided to answer any logistical questions you may have.
From it’s members to everyone helping to facilitate paradigm shifting activities, THC is committed to working with the highest-quality partners. So, we’ve partnered with one of the best river guiding companies in Utah to help facilitate a safe and expansive experience.

The Threshold stage brings people to their edge. It moves them beyond fear or discomfort and into a sacred space where they can experience new states of consciousness. This experience allows for deep healing and level transformation that is otherwise inaccessible.
The threshold phase takes place over our 4-day River Rafting Expedition. In order to maximize this transitory experience, we incorporate nature, breathwork, meditation, as well as guided shamanic journey work.
Luxurious tent lodging, and gourmet meals (vegetarian/vegan included) are provided with the utmost focus on personal safety and well-being. This is an experience of the outdoors; but with high-quality comforts!

The most important aspect of any transformational experience is the integration of its profound lessons. As a community, we’ll support each other in the embodiment of our highest expressions and fullest potential.
This includes a 2-hour integration call that will take place one week after the wilderness expedition is complete. We will also be providing ongoing monthly mastermind calls where we will continue building on the foundation we’ve built as a community.
Each new initiate will officially be welcomed into The Härt Collective community at our yearly “gathering of the tribe” Summit in Austin, TX. January 11-14, 2024.

The Härt Collective membership is a year-long container that extends well-beyond the Rite-of-Passage experience. The container opens on May 22nd, 2022 and will have activities running each month to keep our members engaged and supported as they embark on this process of group transformation.

You will have access to a potent network of high-impact leaders in your pocket. Our members-only Telegram group will launch on May 22nd and form an interactive chat group to connect, share their journey, and receive support from other high-impact leaders in real-time.

Transformational Whitewater Rafting retreats.
The journey will not be easy, but the rewards will be profound and transformative, helping you unlock new levels of success, fulfillment, and impact that you may have never thought possible.
We have two whitewater rafting retreats scheduled for June 22-27th and August 22-27th. Each retreat has been split in order to provide a potent, intimate space where deep transformative work can take place. You’ll choose ONE of these retreats to attend and it’ll act as your initiation into our community.
Each retreat includes gourmet meals, a fully-guided and supportive rafting trip led by Utah’s finest outdoor rafting company, and hotel stays before and after (flights to Utah not included). This will be an abundant, high-quality experience in a pristine, highly-charged natural setting.
After each retreat, we’ll host an integration call one week later in order to help solidify the transformational changes practically into your daily life.
*Although these expeditions will require more courage than your average retreat, they do not require any wilderness experience. Think of it like a 4 day backpack packing trip into the wilderness but you don’t have to walk. We’ll be floating down the river together (boats are paddled by the guides), we’ll hit some class 3 and 4 size rapids along the way, dock each night at pristine, well-maintained remote campsites, and will be eating high quality food.

All of the calls will be structured in a way to prompt greater connection and engagement. We will also be providing ample opportunity to share, connect and grow through our content & engagement strategy through the use of small group breakout rooms.

• Tribal dance ritual (with Epic DJ)

For the past two years, we have dedicated ourselves to refining the Rite-of-Passage experience, recognizing it as one of the most essential components in forming a true communitas.To ensure the success of our launch, we conducted two trial runs, unwilling to leave anything to chance. And, our participants returned from both journeys blown away!
Well, first off - we embrace diversity. Diversity of thought, background, gender, and race. Diversity is what makes a community truly resilient. Beyond that, we want people who have met themselves to a certain degree and have walked a spiritual path in life. As well, those that are driven and are capable of overcoming their obstacles to meet the dreams they want to see fulfilled. If you feel passionate about taking an active role in creating a positive future with others on the same wavelength, then you should apply.
We noticed a gap in what's currently offered in high-impact communities. Most communities tend to be either spiritual or entrepreneurial. The Härt Collective is about enabling entrepreneurs to use their influence and impact to create spiritual, heart-led, positive impact in the world by coming together. We hold a vision of a future where high-impact leaders are acting as nodes in an inter-connected network that actualizes the New Paradigm of living that many are becoming more aware of.
After the summit, our members have completed the first year of the Härt Collective. This marks an important waypoint in a journey that will grow over the years to come.
